WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that helps to reduce stress, and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to balance your body's energy, improving your energy flow to support healing. You'll dive into a deep state of relaxation where transformation can happen.
Mikao Usui developed Reiki in the early 1900: It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things.
Reiki is not a part of any religion or religious practice, it is a subtle method that addresses both physical and emotional imbalances.
During a session, the client will lie on a day bed, fully clothed, while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or over specific areas of the client’s head, limbs, and torso. They will typically keep their hands in these positions for five minutes.
My Studio is in the heart of Kreuzberg Berlin, where I offer my reiki sessions. I'm a reiki practitioner for two years and learned reiki from Ewelina Bubanja who is a practitioner for over 15 years.
For me reiki is a beautiful practice to come back to ourselves and rediscover our natural being, which is at peace.
